What are the admission requirements for undergraduate programs?

To be eligible for undergraduate admission, you must meet the following requirements:

  • O'Level Requirements: Minimum of 5 credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
  • UTME:As published by the University Admission Office
  • Post-UTME: Participation in the university's screening exercise
  • Age Requirement: As published by the University Admission Office
  • Direct Entry: A'Level, OND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications for direct entry candidates

When will the admission list be released?

The admission list is typically released in batches.

You can check your admission status on the portal or visit the admission office for updates. Notifications may also be sent via email and SMS to successful candidates.

How do I apply for admission?

Follow these steps to complete your application:

  1. Visit the university portal and click on "Admission Application"
  2. Select your choice Programme
  3. Complete the online application form with accurate information
  4. Pay the application fee online using any of the available payment methods
  5. Upload scanned copy of your passport photo(White background)
  6. Submit your application and print the acknowledgment slip
  7. Attend the screening exercise when scheduled(if required)

Note: Ensure all information provided is accurate as false information may lead to disqualification.

Can I edit my application after submission?

Yes, you can edit certain parts of your application within specific time limits:

  • After Payment and submission but Before Admission: Limited edits allowed (O'Level Details)
  • After Admission: No edits allowed except through formal request to the admission office

To request major changes after payment and submission:

  1. May require payment
  2. Attach supporting documents
  3. Submit to the admission office for approval

What payment methods are available?

We offer multiple secure payment options for your convenience:

    • Debit/Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Verve)
    • Bank Transfer

Important: Always keep your transaction reference and payment receipt.

What should I do if my payment doesn't reflect on the portal?

If your payment doesn't reflect within 24 hours, follow these steps:

  1. Check Payment Status: Log in to your portal and check the payment history section
  2. Verify Transaction: Confirm with your bank that the transaction was successful
  3. Check Email: Look for payment confirmation email from the payment gateway
  4. Contact Support: If still unresolved, contact our support team with:
    • Transaction Reference Number
    • Payment Receipt
    • Bank Transaction Slip (if applicable)
    • Your Registration Number

What documents do I need to upload during application?

You need to upload the following scanned documents (image formats, in JPG format):

  • Mandatory Documents:
    • Recent passport photograph (white background, not more than 20KB)
  • Additional Documents (if applicable):
    • UTME result slip
    • Direct Entry result (A'Level, OND, NCE, etc.)
    • Letter of recommendation/referee

File Requirements:
• Maximum file size: 20KB each
• Format: JPG
• Clear, legible scans
• WHITE background

What is the deadline for application submission?

The application deadlines vary by program and admission type:

  • UTME Candidates: Typically 4 weeks
  • Direct Entry: Usually 4 weeks after UTME deadline
  • Postgraduate Programs: Extended deadlines may apply
  • Part-time: Extended deadlines may apply

Current Academic Session Deadlines:

  • Undergraduate Regular: As Published

  • Postgraduate: As Published

Important: Late applications may be accepted with additional fees, subject to availability. It's recommended to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
